There’s no escaping the fact that most health care premises are soulless, clinical places. Not Dickman Pharmacy & Clinic.
We’ve embraced the fact that we are located in a Grade II listed building, and have retained many of the original features that give our shop its matchless charm.
Those lovely vintage features include traditional dark wood panels, old signage with ornate gold lettering, and even some of the old bottles in which medicines were stored.
As well as our patients and customers, curious tourists come from far and wide to visit a shop that looks in many ways much like it did when it first opened in this location in 1914.
Our premises have even featured on TV as a location for programmes including the ITV series Endeavour, which is set in the late 1960s.
Our team say this is a lovely place to work – and our community will tell you it’s a lovely place to visit.
